An events service lives or dies on how quickly a user finds something happening nearby. We built the search around GPS proximity, put ticket payment inside the application so nobody leaves for a browser, and added chat and invitations so an event spreads through the people already using it.
A service for searching and creating paid and free events. Registration, event creation, GPS-based search of the nearest events, in-app payment, friend invitations and a chat system were implemented.
