Web Development Services

We build the server side of mobile apps, admin panels, customer portals and web applications. New projects are usually TypeScript end to end: NestJS or Fastify with PostgreSQL on the server and Next.js on the front. Platforms already running on Laravel, Yii2 or Rails we continue on their own stack.

Web Development Services

Who comes to us for web development

Most of our web work is the part users never see as a separate product: the server, the API, the admin panel. The rest are sites that have to carry traffic and sell.

What we build

Backends and APIs

Server side for mobile and web products: accounts and roles, data, payments, notifications and integrations with third-party services. APIs come with documentation, so another team can use them later.

Admin panels and internal tools

Interfaces for your team to manage content, users, orders and reports. Built around how people actually work, with roles and permissions, instead of a generic template.

Customer portals

Personal accounts where customers see their orders, bookings, documents or subscriptions, pay and update their details themselves instead of writing to support.

Web apps on Next.js

Customer-facing web applications on the Next.js App Router, rendered on the server or regenerated incrementally (SSR and ISR), so pages load fast and search engines index them. Typed APIs with tRPC or Hono between front and back.

Online stores and marketing sites

Catalogue, checkout, payment systems and promo tools, plus landing pages and company sites. Stores and sites your team edits without a developer we usually build on WordPress and WooCommerce, which have their own page.

Work on existing platforms

New features, redesign and refactoring for platforms built by other teams. We read the code first and tell you whether it is cheaper to develop what exists or to rebuild it.

The stack follows the task

The stack follows the task

For new products our default is TypeScript on both sides: NestJS with Prisma and PostgreSQL on the server, or Fastify when the service is small and speed matters, and Next.js with the App Router for the web client. tRPC or Hono shares the API types between them, so a renamed field breaks the build instead of production. We also work on PHP (Laravel and Yii2), Ruby on Rails and Python, and when you come with a platform built on one of them, we usually continue on its stack. A change is proposed only when the current stack is actually holding the product back, because paying for the wrong tools is a cost you carry for years.

One server side for apps, web and the team behind them

One server side for apps, web and the team behind them

A typical project for us is one backend with several clients. For ELLO Music we built a music video distribution platform where one Laravel backend serves iOS and Android apps and a Vue.js web client. Stellium Music App follows the same pattern, with separate sides for listeners, artists and advertisers. We design the data model and the API first, so a new client, a partner integration or an automation can be added later without rebuilding the core, and an admin panel lets the business run day to day without calling a developer for every change.

Stores and sites that have to sell

Stores and sites that have to sell

For NIS-Store, one of the largest importers of Xiaomi devices to Europe and the USA, we developed a new interface for the online store, integrated payment systems and added marketing tools. For LunchPoint we built a service for the UK market that brings together restaurants, their menus, discounts and upcoming events, with search by location. Sites that sell need the same engineering care as internal systems, plus close attention to page speed, analytics and checkout, where a small error costs real money. Stores on WordPress and WooCommerce and technical SEO audits each have their own page.

How a web project runs

01

Discovery and scope

We clarify users, roles, integrations and what already exists. You get a written scope, a stack recommendation and an estimate in time and money.

02

UX/UI design

Prototypes and layouts for the key pages and states, prepared for implementation. You approve the interface before development starts.

03

Architecture

Data model, API and infrastructure planned up front. You get a documented design that any competent team can work with.

04

Development

Backend and frontend in sprints, with work you can see and try on a test server along the way.

05

Testing and launch

QA of functionality, layouts and integrations, then deployment to your hosting or cloud. The site goes live on accounts registered to you.

06

Support

Updates, fixes, monitoring and new features after launch, for as long as you need them.

How we can work together

Fixed scope

Scope, estimate and timeline agreed in writing before development. Suits new sites, stores and portals with clear requirements.

Dedicated team

Backend and frontend developers and QA working on your platform continuously. Suits products that grow release after release.

Hourly

Payment for the hours actually spent, with regular reports. Suits code audits, integrations and smaller improvements to an existing site.

Reviews

We treat each client and his project with love.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work with an existing site or platform?

Yes, and most of our web work starts that way. We read the code first and tell you whether it is cheaper to develop what exists or to rebuild it. Both answers happen, and you get the reasons either way.

WordPress or custom development: which one do we need?

WordPress when the site is mostly content and your team publishes pages, news and landing pages itself; our WordPress and WooCommerce page covers that work. Custom development, usually TypeScript with NestJS and Next.js, when there is business logic: accounts, orders, roles, integrations, calculations. Many projects use both, with WordPress for the marketing site and a custom platform behind the login.

Why TypeScript for new projects?

One language on the server and in the browser means shared types: when the API changes, the build fails before users see an error. TypeScript developers are also easy to hire, so a team that takes over later can read the code. For a platform already running on PHP or Rails, this is not a reason to rewrite it.

How is the price calculated?

We break the project into pages, features and integrations, estimate each in hours and add design, QA and launch work. You then choose a fixed scope, a dedicated team or hourly work. We do not publish prices, because a landing page and a customer portal are not comparable.

How long does a web project take?

A promo site and a platform with accounts, payments and integrations are very different amounts of work, so we answer after going through the requirements. You get an estimate before the start, and if the scope changes, the estimate is updated openly.

Who owns the hosting, the domain and the accounts?

You do. We can set up the infrastructure and administer it, but the accounts are registered to you from the start, so nothing depends on our continued involvement.

Do you support sites after launch?

Yes: updates, fixes, monitoring and new features, including for sites built by other teams. Details are on our website support page.
