Technical SEO for websites and web applications

We find and fix what stops search engines from crawling, understanding and showing your pages: slow loading, broken redirects, duplicate URLs, wrong language versions and missing structured data. Our developers do the fixes too, so the audit does not end as a PDF in a drawer.

Technical SEO for websites and web applications

When technical SEO is the problem

Content and links matter, but they do little when search engines cannot reach the pages or are shown the wrong ones.

What we do

Technical audit

A crawl of the whole site plus Search Console data: status codes, redirects, canonical tags, indexing, internal links, titles and duplicates. Findings are ordered by impact, each with the affected pages and the fix.

Core Web Vitals

Loading, interactivity and layout stability measured on phones and desktops, then fixed in the code, images, fonts, scripts, caching and server setup.

Migrations without losing rankings

A redirect map from every old URL to its new place, checked before and after launch, so a redesign, a new CMS or a domain change does not reset years of search history.

Multilingual sites

hreflang between all language versions, translated slugs, canonical tags per language and sitemaps that list every version, so each country sees its own language.

Structured data

Schema.org markup in JSON-LD for the organisation, services, products, articles, breadcrumbs and FAQ, validated and kept consistent with what the page actually shows.

Ready for AI search

The same crawl covers what AI assistants rely on: bot access, markup and consistent company facts. The full AI side, including checking how assistants answer about you, is on our Technical GEO page.

An audit your developers can act on

An audit your developers can act on

Many SEO reports list two hundred warnings and leave the team to guess which ones matter. Ours is shorter and ordered by impact. Each finding names the pages it affects, why it matters and how to fix it, and the owner gets a one-page summary without jargon. For a client’s publication built as a single-page app, the main problem was that search engines indexed an empty shell on many routes. After server rendering, article markup, a cleaned sitemap and fixed crawler rules, its audit score went from 48 to 78 out of 100.

Tested on our own multilingual site

Tested on our own multilingual site

Our own website has 772 URLs in ten languages, and we audit it the same way we audit clients’ sites. The first audit gave it 51 points on our scale. Over two days we completed hreflang between all versions, replaced internal links that went through redirects, added schema markup to service pages, fixed missing alt texts and moved render-blocking styles and scripts. The re-audit put it at about 80. What remains depends on content only the business can supply, such as figures in case studies, and the report says so.

Generated pages that stay indexable

Generated pages that stay indexable

Catalogs, listings and location or comparison pages are often generated from data by the thousand. Search engines index them only when each page has a reason to exist: unique titles and descriptions, a canonical URL, a place in the sitemap and internal links that lead to it. Combinations with no real content are kept out of the index on purpose. We design the templates, URL rules and sitemaps together with the developers, and render the pages on the server when they are built with JavaScript.

How the work goes

01

Access and crawl

You give us Search Console and analytics access. We crawl the site and measure speed on phones and desktops.

02

Report

You get the findings ordered by impact, with pages, reasons and fixes, and a short summary for the owner.

03

Fixes

Our developers make the changes, or we brief your team and review their work.

04

Re-check

We crawl and measure again and compare with the starting point. You see what changed and what is left.

05

Watch after releases

If you want, we check the site after major releases and migrations, when most technical SEO problems appear.

Ways to work with us

Audit

A fixed-scope audit with a report and a summary. Your team makes the fixes.

Audit and fixes

The audit, then the fixes by our developers, then a re-check against the starting point.

Ongoing checks

Technical SEO checks after releases and migrations, often combined with website support.

We treat each client and his project with love.

Frequently asked questions

Do you guarantee rankings or traffic?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Rankings depend on content, competition and search engine changes that nobody controls. We guarantee that the technical problems in the report are found, explained and, if you hire us for it, fixed and re-checked.

Do you write content or build links?

No. We work on the technical side: crawling, indexing, speed, redirects, markup and site structure. Where the report shows that a page needs better content, we say so and describe what is missing.

We are about to redesign or change CMS. When should we involve you?

Before the new site is built, not after launch. The redirect map and URL rules are easiest to plan while the structure is still being designed. After launch we check that every old URL leads to the right new page.

What about AI search?

Technical SEO makes the site crawlable and indexable, which AI assistants also need. Getting assistants to read, trust and quote the site is a separate piece of work that we describe on the Technical GEO page, and the two are often done together.

Does it work for sites that are not on WordPress?

Yes. We audit custom web applications, single-page apps and headless CMS setups as well. For JavaScript-heavy sites, checking what search engines actually see is often the first finding.

What access do you need?

Search Console and analytics for the audit. For fixes, access to the CMS or the repository and, for speed work, to the server or hosting. Everything is agreed in advance.

Can our own developers do the fixes?

Yes. The report is written for developers, with the pages and the fix for each finding. We can review their changes and run the re-check afterwards.
